Began Closure of the Aft Opening Of the HS Tips. First, I shaped a piece of pink insulating foam to fit into the opening. This foam will maintain the opening and serve as a surface onto which the glass will be layed. I then covered the foam with a layer of clear plastic tape and protected surrounding metal with more of the plastic tape. The foam was wet with some epoxy and a single layer of 9 oz. BID Glass was applied over the foam. All of the air was removed from the glass and a piece of Dacron Peel Ply was applied over the glass and wetted with epoxy.
