Brief Description: Installed a IBBS LED Indicator Light in the Panel
Installed a IBBS LED Indicator Light in the Panel. Ran the Info wire from the IBBS to the switch and spliced a ground wire into the IBBS Master Switch ground wire. Turned the IBBS Master switch ON but got no light. Back to the wring schematic. Ahha! I had thought the Info wire was the current wire for the light but it was not. The LED light needed a power wire that originated from one of the backup power wires that run from the battery to the piece of equipment. Thus, when the equipment is energized by the battery, the light illuminates. The Info wire goes to ground in the event of a power loss from the main power source of the equipment thereby completing the light circuit. I'll need to change my wiring of the light.
