Tested Fuel Line Segments for Sources of Air. By installing clear segments of tubing, I was not able to find any air leaks up to the pumps. Air was still in the return line. I checked the fuel from the pumps as it passed through the firewall. There was air but not much. The pumps still sounded labored. Not discounting the possibility of fuel restrictions downstream, in particular at the fuel pressure regulator, I decided to bench test the fuel pumps tomorrow for unlabored operation and current draw.
