Brief Description: The VP Serial 7 Input to the GRT EFISs Missing
The VP Serial 7 Input to the GRT EFISs Missing message has been present since interconnecting the avionics. I thought that this would be resolved after some configuration of the avionics. But this message persisted on the EFISs. After consulting with Marc Ausman at VP, the problem was that the wrong serial wire from the VP was being used to send data to the GRT EFISs. After switching to Serial 6 and changing the Baud rate to 92,500 (may be wrong rate listed here but within range of the available baud rate numbers), the problem of communicating with the EFISs was solved.
