Brief Description: Installed Firesleeve on the Firewall Penetration
Installed Firesleeve on the Firewall Penetration for the Engine Electrical Cables. But first I had to pull the cables back out of the pentration and then slide the firesleeve over the cables before it could be reinserted. This should have been done when I first ran the cables through the firewall. A piece of firesleeve was wrapped circumferentially around the cables on the interior of the pentration. The piece of firesleeve through which the cables had been passed was then slid into position over the outer diameter of the pass-through and clamped in place. The ends of the firesleeve was then sealed with a fire block sealant.
