Brief Description: Assembled, Modified and Fit the Airbox
Assembled, Modified and Fit the Airbox to the left side of the engine in the area between the aft end of the engine and the firewall. I have the fat wire passing through the firewall in this area. Because of this, I had to modify the airbox to allow for the passage of the fat wire through the airbox. Material was removed from the aft and top sides of the air box. A grommet fit nicely into the top surface relief providing good protection of the fat cable. Adel clamps were installed to secure the fat cable to the engine mount. The wires that accompany the fat cable were laced to the cable and then covered with split conduit prior to being secured with adel clamps.
The inner box of the airbox was fit, drilled, deburred and riveted to the outer box with pulled rivets.
