Brief Description: Carved/Shaped the Left Lower Intersection Fairing
Carved/Shaped the Left Lower Intersection Fairing. I used a soup can lid per Sam James, a couple of sections of 2" and 4" PVC pipes, some chisels and an old CD disc to shape the radii of the fairing mold. This is truely an expression of one's artistry talents. Because of this, I have been fumbling along trying to express myself. For the first rough shaping, I am happy with the progress. I had to remove alot of the clay that I applied yesterday. But the mold is starting to resemble an intersection fairing and this is good. I need to fine tune the shape and the surfaces of the mold on the next work day. Hopefully, I will be glassing the fairing soon.
