Brief Description: Fitted Two Halves of a Wheel Fairing Together
Fitted Two Halves of a Wheel Fairing Together. Sanded the aft part of the mating flange square. During the mold layup of the part, excess epoxy deposits in the corner and prevents a good fit of the mated surfaces. The edges of the halves were sanded until a close fit of the parts was achieved. The process was slow and non-agressive as I felt my way through the process. The medium is easy to work with even if it is quite dusty. A dust mask is a necessity.
