Brief Description:  Applied the Cosmetic Surface of the Adhesive

Applied the Cosmetic Surface of the Adhesive after reapplying the Primer. Again, overall, I am happy with the results. There were some areas that were not perfect but they were good for this first timer.

Once the job was finished, I removed all of the interior tape and film and all of the trim tape fromn the exterior. There was a problem with the film I had applied to the interior of the canopy. For the most part, the film came off quite easily. But it had the tendency to leave some small areas of adhesive on the canopy. This adhesive would not come off with Mineral Spirits. It just smeared. I was really concerned about how to remove the adhesive without doing any damage to the canopy. After doing some research, naptha in some lighter fluid, an acceptable solution to use on the canopy, started removing the adhesive. It required a rubbing with a naptha rag followed with wiping with a clean rag. I will use the suggestion of others to clean the canopy afterwards with Plexus Canopy Cleaner to further clean and polish the canopy.
