Brief Description: Trimmed and Dressed the Canopy Edges
Trimmed and Dressed the Canopy Edges. I marked the canopy from the inside using the frame as a template to show where the excess material was located. The excess was cut off and the canopy was moved to the workbench. Here the edges were sanded with 60, 100 and then 180 grit paper to polish the edges. This is when the dust becomes really evident. During the cuts with the Dremel wheel, the material was flung off in relatively large pieces. Not now! This is definitely the time to wear the respiratory protection. It most likely should have been on our faces during the entire cutting process.
