Brief Description: Started Trimming the Front of the Canopy
Started Trimming the Front of the Canopy. The Canopy was 2-3 inches above the Rollover Bow and the Canopy Frame Bow at the start of the cutting. This gap was decreased to about 1 inch by the end of the session. We trimmed about 1/2" from the canopy on each pass. I used a dry erase marker to mark the canopy, following the contour of the forward top skin. The initial cuts were relatively short in length and progressively longer with each slice. The aft tip moved about 1.25" forward from tonight's cuts.
