Brief Description: Programmed the GRT EFISs until Battery Died
Programmed the GRT EFISs until Battery Died. I was wasting a bunch of the battery life while I figured out the the answers for the programming sequence of both Displays. No significant problems, just another new task to become familiar with in real time.
The TCW Integrated Backup Battery System (IBBS) requires a Keep Alive battery source that runs through a 2A fuse. I had intended to use the 1A Keep Alive source from the VP CU to trickle charge the IBBS. Even though the charging circuit would only draw somewhere in the range of less then 0.5A max, I decided to follow the wiring diagram exactly. I run a separate wire for the task from the hot terminal next to the VP CU, to the front left panel area, with a 2A ATC Fuse inline. When I re-install the IBBS, I'll use the wire in the wiring connector.
