Brief Description:  Wired the Switches of the Rt Forward Switch Panel

Wired the Switches of the Rt Forward Switch Panel. Most of the switches of this panel are to provide an option of using Back Up power directly from the batteries to critical equipment should ther be an electrical failure of the Vertical Power System. In normal situations, the switches will remain in the Auto Position with power controlled by the VP System. The Battery Posiion will be used in Urgent/Emergent Situations. These switches were wired:

GNS-430W with a DPDT switch to power both the Nav (2.5A) and Com (6A) separate requirements.

PS5000-EX Audio Panel and SL-40 Com Radio with a DPDT switch using 5A Battery Backup power split from a single source wire from the rear fused battery power terminal.

Autopilot Backup using a DPST On-On switch and Battery power provided by the former Boost (Backup Fuel Pump) wire from the rear fused battery power terminal. There was no need for a backup of the pump since I have a main and a secondary power source directly from the batteries for the main pump.

One SPST each for the Backup A + B outlets of the VP Control Unit. "A" will automatically power and backup the Transponder and "B" will do the same for a Fuse Terminal behind the instrument panel to power several low power devices essential for flight (i.e. EIS, AOA sensor, Panel and Instrument Lighting).

Rear stick disconnect switch using a SPST ON-OFF switch (yet to be ordered)

Heated Seats SPST ON-OFF switch. The heaters run directly off of the battery and inadvertently leaving them on is both bad for the battery and safety.

Aux Power (Cigarette) Outlet to power portable equipment and as a means of trickle charging the batteries while in the hangar.
