Brief Description: Countersunk Right Wing Tip Holes
Countersunk Right Wing Tip Holes. I ground two grinding stones down to approximately a 100 degree angle similar to that of the rivets and screws. One was used for the rivet holes and the other one was used for the screw holes. This worked well for countersinking the holes in the fiberglass tips for the rivets and screws. The fiberglass would have torn up a regular countersink drill.
This operation generates a lot of fine dust. Holding the vacuum nearby help keep the dust to a minimum which keeps the shop cleaner and decreases the risk to the lungs.
