Brief Description:  Connected the wings to the fuselage

Connected the wings to the fuselage. After spraying the wing spars with LPS lubricant, two people guided the wing spar and rear spar into place while one person wiggled and pushed the wing from the tip. A drift pin made earlier was used to align the center spar holes and the wing spar holes. The drift pin was held tight in place on the first wing. With trial and error movement of the wing up and down and some careful prying, the pin waas removed without damage and the four bolts to hold the left wing were inserted wothout too much effort. The right wing went in fairly easily. The only difference was that the left wing was tighter at the center spar. The tightness issue of the front spar was resolved by temporarily re-inserting the small oak spacer block back into place in the center spar gap. This block was used to maintain the opening distance of the center spar during the fuselage construction. All of the spacer blocks were actually quite tight in their positions when they needed to be removed for the wing insertions. The wood apparently had swollen some.
