Brief Description: Canopy latch and slide assembly
More sanding on the canopy handle. Assembled the canopy latch with handle.
Taped the avionics lid forward skin. I had previously primered the surface with the black Sika primer. I retaped the skin and painted the surface with a dark blue paint.
Sanded and started to position the Flyboy canopy notch locks to hold the canopy open at verous stops.
I also found the solution for the locking mechinisim so that I can add a key lock to the canopy (without using the slide rail lock) I used a pice of aluminum and cut a plate to mount the lock mechanisim to the fiberglass canopy skirt. Drilled the lock hole in the canopy skirt
