Manual Reference:  Cutting canopy
Brief Description:  The BIG cut

After letting the canopy sit another day just to consider and think and measure again. While I had no intention of making the planar cut. After reviewing the canopy fit again and measuring squeezing contenplaing. I pulled the canopy off the frame set it on the table, supported by wood cross members to match the bottom shape; pulled out the Drummel and made the cut.

I think it is far bigger in your head than the actual event. By this time I had cut and fitted the canopy so many times I was very familiar with just how thin the plexiglass is on some of the blown edges.

I followed the same practice, Drummel cut, Drummel sand 120 and 240. Used the belt sander to take out any slight variation from the cutting wheel. Belt sand again at 240 and then hand sand to 400 followed by a quick wanding of a torch (Again I don't know if the flame polised edge is a good thing or bad, just a practice we use at work with plasttic)

I followed the same practice for the windshield, leaving it on the work table
