Brief Description: Trim and fitting canopy to frame/fuselage
Beautiful day in the desert, so I opened the hangar door and trimmed and fitted the canopy for 5 and a half hours. Roll the table out. Cut, sand, fine sand, and roll the table back. Jennifer was a sport and would come out every half hour and help me set clamp and fit the canopy to the frame/fuselage. I went from 1/2" cuts to 1/8" cuts. At the end of the day I was still about 3/8" from the top of the canopy frame. But knowing I was tired and didn't want to make a mistake on this one I called it a day and clampped the canopy into place on the frame. Set a space heater in the fuselage at night. Put some moving blankets over the canopy to keep the heat in and left everything clampped into place overnight.
