Brief Description:  Rear turtle deck forward skin

I was again not feeling enthusiastic tonight, but forced myself to do a little and make some progress, after a day at work I feel brain dead when I get home. Anyway, I marked the aircraft centre line on the rear hoop and then did the same for the forward skin. The forward skin is then pre-drilled with 2 holes one a 30mm from the rear of the skin and the other at 860mm from the previous measurement. The rear 30mm hole is then clecoed in place on the fuse and the centre line marked on the rear hoop is lined up with the 860mm hole and back drilled. This was a little precarious, because I was standing on a chair next to the fuse, and leaning over it hoping like hell I didn't slip. Anyway as you can see it worked out for the better, now I just need to trace the outline of the hoop on the bottom of the skin, and then drill the pilot holes which then get back drilled to the hoop. Fiddle fiddle fiddle. At least its progress.
I got a surprise in the mail today, Allan Barton had sent me a length of aluminium from which I can make replacement flap bearings, many thanks Allan, the aviation community and the people involved are truely a beed apart.
