Brief Description:  Working on to do list

This morning I started on the list that Keith generated; adjust the left wheel spat to give it enough clearance. Lock wired the rudder turn buckles as per standard aircraft practice. Glued the side flashing to the rear of the canopy with Sika Flex. Installed the rear flashing under the elevator to close the gap. Added penny washers to the to outside of the aileron push rods to ensure that if the ball joint ever fails, that the bolt cannot pull free of the control. Also spoke to the actual inspector (Dave Tenet) and organised for an inspection next week once I get all of my squawks out of the way. He wants me to do an engine run before he goes over the plane, so perhaps this weekend if I have a chance I'll do that. I have also booked in to do some transition training in a Technam at Cessnock tomorrow afternoon; it’s a pretty close match to the Zodiac. Man am I tired, all the driving (2 hours each way to the airport) and working on the plane is killing me....
