This stuff is not as bad as I was lead to believe, sure its messy, but then so is Silastic...I think I got enough on each sender that it will help to prevent any possible leaks, heaven forbid I should ever want to remove the senders. I only ended up using half a tube of the sealant that I bought from Vans, with the temperature this cold it does not go off very fast at all. Shame really to throw out the remaining stuff but I was not willing to smear it around my fire wall as then the mess I could have created would have been really evident.
