Brief Description:  Fuel sender and hole in the side of the tank

After bending up the fuel sender, I lifted the tank into the wing, the wing is still upside down, but it was easy enough to hold it in place to mark the approximate position for the fuel sender, I then used the bending diagram to position the hole in its centre position so that the sender will achieve its full range of movement. Once this was marked it was just a matter of using the fly cutter by hand and rotating it to cut an ever deeper grove, 15 minutes later I broke through with a nice clean hole, the instructions suggest a 59mm hole and yet again caution has me just slightly under this, but a little bit of filing where the screws pass through the sender cover should see a nice fit. Before finishing for the night I marked the top and bottom position on the sender so that I install it the correct way up to indicate empty (with a resistance of 70 ohms) and full (with a resistance of 10 ohms). On a side note the fuel cap in this tank is so easy to screw in and out compared to the right wing tank, it makes me realise that the thread on the right tank possoibily had poorly cut threads and I should have done something about it before installing it, Oh well live and learn.
