Using existing 4x4x8 lumber, cut 8 workbench legs - Cut 4x4s to 33 inch long legs, cutting to reduce defects included in the legs. Initial cuts made with circular saw due to size and weight of the 4x4x8s. Final cuts made on table saw - Cut slots into each leg for 2x4 frame members. Started with shoulder cuts made on table saw with wood blade, using fence stop to endure cuts in same place on each leg. Then hog out slots using dado blade in table saw, making multiple cuts at 3 different depths in order to complete deep 1.5" x 3.5" slots without overloading table saw.
