Greg's RV-12 Classic N719VA
Welcome to my experimental aircraft construction Web site. I built a Vans Aircraft RV-12 as an ELSA (Experimental Light Sport Aircraft). FAA registration number N719VA with Airworthiness Certificate on 09/20/2022. My serial number (Vans Aircraft builder's number) is 120719 thus the N719VA registration, VA for Vans Aircraft because that is listed as the builder on the aircraft nameplate per the ELSA registration. The aircraft is hangared at Ankeny, IA airport KIKV. I installed lights, 2-axis autopilot, Dynon Skyview HDX with touch screen and ADS-B in and out. I have full upholstery and wheel pants to install (later). I used 3M 1080 wrap on the instrument panel, roll-bar and engine cowling. In the future, I may have the aircraft painted white and highlighted with colored 3M 2080 wrap material. The picture above was taken 11/13/2025 at 191 TT hours.
