Brief Description: Instation of various avionics components
Drilled out holes for wiring on avionics. Holes and grommets through the right side of the wing spar.and from the fuselage into the wing conduit line.
Installed the Artex ELT in the rear of the plane. I installed the antena on the right side of the empenage fairing. Fab'd a small antena guide to prevent the antena from rubbing against the fairing.
Installed the GMU 11 Magnometer. Riveted the tray to the bulkhead and drilled out the mounting holes.
Installed the ADAHARS GSU 25c on the builkhead in front of the Magnometer. (It is all really tight on distance. From what I've read online these are common locations that have worked.
Installed the Pitch servo rails and the GSU 28 servo, with the pushrod connection to the bell crank
Drilled out the holes for the WAAS antena, again a common placement for the RV8 so I'm hoping all of these placements will work. Some, like the GMU 11 listing sizable distance which is not possible on the RV8.
Cut down the front and rear control sticks for the Infinity grips.
