Brief Description: Fiberglass work to modify the fit on the canopy sk
In an effort to get a tighter fit on the rear of the canopy skirt, I cut notches into the section that had about a 1/4 to 3/8" gap.
The instruction set calls for laying fiberglass on the insdie edge and sanding down the outer surface. Which I tried on the back edge where the two halfs connect. In an effort to abvoid laying in 1/4 of fiberglass to sand off 1/4 of the outer surface, I'm trying a notching method. I clamped on a 1/4" wood yard stick to keep the shape; clamping the individual notched ends. Then fiberglassed the rear surface.
Notched
Clamped on yard stick with the individual notches clamped and fiberglass applied to back surface.
