Brief Description:  Bonding the plexiglass to welded frame rail system

In order to stay in front of the 24 hour maximum time on the data sheet for the Sika Primer 209D

I went out and pulled the clamps from the previous day of applying the Sikaflex 295uv. (I had pulled the spacers out late last night and reclamped ) I applied the fillet bond to the interior frame connection and then went to th36 cle outer edge. Using a straight edge on the outer fillet worked really well, the Inside fillet required quite a bit of finesse, especially since the inside edge is the show through bond that will asthetically be critical.

The full bonding of the slide canopy, took 1.5 tubes of Sikaflex 295v, half a box of gloves, a roll of paper towels, and 38 clamps.

Overall I'm pleased with the results

* if I did it over again I would retape the inside fillet (after the intial bonding to the frame) Purely an athetic point, but it would have saved a lot of time from hand straigning the adhesive lines if I could have simply pulled the tape line.
