Brief Description: Modify rib between bagage compartment and instrume
One of the modifications that was suggested by a number of individuals during my Oshkosh 2018 trip was to modify the rib between the bagage compartment and Instrumnet panel to allow future access into the back of the instrument panel. After measuring and cutting out the area of the rib. I modified the two side pieces to lay flush to the panel. Cutting the section and moving it up while riveting it to a hing section proided the best solution. I cut the hing pin in two and bent the hinge pin so that it is two pieces and allows for total removal of the panel. I attached 7 nut plates across the top section for the enclosure.
