Brief Description: Remove and replace some hardward, rivet nutplates
After reading some of the BLOGs on Van's Air Force, I found that some of the scews with bolts did not have enough threads showing. Specifically there were four locations on the front gear boxes and the two bolts on the rear bulkhead that needed to be replaced.
I ordered the 8R9 size for the gear box locations, which worked perfectly.
I found on the rear bulkhead that I must have used 3-8A instead of the 3-10A bolts specified. Once I replaced them they were great.
Match drilled, debured, and riveted on the nut plates that attach the floor skin to the bottom rib structure (These are the two small angle brackets in the middle of the floor assembly
