Brief Description: Drilling, deburing, and bolting right gear leg
I marked/drill marked the inner and outer wear plates 1/4" holes. Pulled the wear plates and used the drill press to drill the holes to size. Bolted the two wear plates into location and then used a hand drill to drill through the attachement bolts for the "U" shape mounts. Pulled all parts deburred inside and out cleaned up all holes and rebolted everthing into location. Torqued individual bolts to specification. Applied torque seal to all bolts.
Right gear leg is mounted !
*Deburing large holes was a challenge, until I visited Aunt Jewel in Florida, who was a Riviter on the line at Fairchild aircraft. Aunt Jewell gave me some of her old riveting pieces. One of those pieces was this large deburing attachment. Which is excellent for large holes.
