Brief Description: Measure and move. Finally drilling outer wear pla
Measure and move, measure and move. I continued to find that I was off about a 1/2" when I triangulated the measurement. Understanding that the most important measurement was the parallel measurement between the front position and the real position on the extension. I aligned those two measurements dead on to the 65 7/16" and finally found that my discrepancy was caused by my plumb line locations front and rear, since I was flipping the copper pipe as I mounted it to each of the gear legs.
Finally reduced everything to with in the 1/4" triangulated measurement and dead on to the 1/16" on the parallel measurement. (Really happy where I ended up. My only concern is not moving the gear legs as I drill the front location hole for the outer wear plates.)
Drilled and bolted outer wear plate for both left and right gear mounts
