Brief Description: Match drilling, disassembly, and deburing
After match drilling the tail assembly and checking the fit on the rear skin assembly around the tail wheel. I began the disassembly of the tail section, then the side skins and structure. Finanally the forward assembly down to the sub structure and lower/mid longerons.
Debured the forward assembly pices and debured forward assembly. including the bulkhead. Countersunk the joinking bottom skin between the forward assembly and mid floor. Also I countersunk the lower and mid longeron points.
After soaking Jewel's gifted countersunk tool in oil for a couple weeks, I pulled it out and set up the countersunk tool for #30 and left my new one with the #40. (It was fun to see that not much has changed in 50-60 years. She used the countersunk tool while an employee as Fairchild Aircraft where she was a Rosy the Riveter, riveting wings and fuselage assemblies and later she worked on electrical assemblies for the A-10)
