Installed the canopy and countersunk 3 holes along the side and installed screws, nuts and washers per plans. Laid out and drilled rivet holes for the left side canopy skirt and fabricated the lift handle from .063 angle. This weekend is coming to a close. Next steps will be to dimple the skin and countersink the frame. After this side is done I will finish he right side. There is a problem area on that side that I need to figure out. The frame does not sit flush with the skin and is about 1/8" inboard. If I put the skirt on the bottom of the skirt will not sit flush with the exterior skin. This will take some thought on how to correct.
I also ordered another two quart poly paint kit over the weekend to finish painting the remainder of the canopy parts and for some touch up of the interior.
