Brief Description:  Shape Canopy Frame F-631A Channels.

Time to shape the F-631A-R/L aft Canopy Frame Channels. These guys need to have the outer flange re adjusted from 88 degrees to 92.5 degrees to fit the sloping plastic canopy as seen in image 1.

After adjusting the flange angle, you need to take the induced twist out.of the channel as seen in image 2. With the center of the channel clamped to the work bench, I clamped a piece of wood to the end of the channel to help provide leverage to twist the channels flat.

Then, finally, flute the outer channel to remove the bow induced from the flange angle adjustment. Image 3 shows the channels clamped into position. The Flanges are adjusted to 92.5 degrees, and the Channels are twist and bow free.

In-between the Canopy Frame Channels and Roll Bar are 7/8” wood spacers. I made 6, 3 per side.
