This Canopy Release Bearing Block comes square with one hole in it to receive the Canopy Release Shaft. It needs to be shaped and drilled as per plans.
Here you can see I used my metal lathe to dill the 2 holes as per plans. I use my metal lathe more and more for drilling. Here you can see I made a wood drill table that clamps into the mill/drill attachment clamp I bought for my lathe. I can clamp most anything to this guy for precise drilling.
