Brief Description:  Dill holes in end of Canopy Release Links.

The Canopy Release Links and the Canopy Jettison Handle itself need holes cut in the ends.
Again I'm using me metal lathe to drill these holes.

One big advantage using the lathe to drill is that the drill bit can be chucked up so that only about an inch of the dill bit is protruding out the end of the chuck. Chucking up the bit this way reduces the amount the drill bit will bend and flex when presenting the bit to the curved shaft. You can get the hole exactly where you want it.

Another advantage to using the lathe is that once the tube is clamped in, I have 3 position adjusting wheels to precisely position the workpiece in 3 dimensions. I love that. Its a joy to use.
