Brief Description: F-705 BH - Drill 605C and spacers.
The 605C's are pre bent to allow the 705H spacer to fit between the 705B and 605C.
The plans call out that the length of this 605C should be 12 1/2" in length, but the part comes 12 3/4" long. So, it's 1/4" to long. Which end do you trim? maybe 1/8" from each end? Well, looking where the bends are in the part, you can figure that 1/8" from each end would do it. But, for better or worse I decided to NOT trim the ends. This will move the bends 1/8" interior making the need to shape the 705H unnecessary. I like that. Also this will give you a little more hole to edge distance on the most interior hole.
Make sure you get the 705 level on your drill press table for drilling. I used spacers of sorts to get it level.
The interior end of the 605C gets a tapered cut. I think it's best to make this cut after all the holes are drilled. Keeping this part square makes it easier to position correctly and clamp in place.
