Brief Description: Tim forward spar of vertical stabilizer.
Plans call out to trim 5/8” from the lower end of the forward spar of the vertical stabilizer spar. I trimmed exactly 5/8”. If I were to do it again I would leave it a bit longer to make sure I make rivet edge distance later on.
Using my mini cut off dermal type cut off wheel made easy work of it. Then I actually used my table stand sanding disk to take off and even out the last 1/16” or so.
