Brief Description: Trial fit of Vertical Stabilizer to fuselage.
Sure is fun mounting new control surfaces for the first time. Abby came out and saw it mounted and says, “Hey dad, looks even more less like a boat”. She thought she was paying me a complement, but I would rather here her say, “Hey dad, looks even more like an airplane.”. She laughs and goes back inside.
I had interference between the lower vertical stabilizer main spar flanges and the rivet shop heads on the fuselage. I think I’ll just adjust the flanges inward slightly for now.
