Brief Description: Elevator trim cable. Drill anchor nut plate.
As usual I match drill everything that I can. Here in image 1, I’m match drilling through scrap the trim cable anchor nut attach plate. Just move the scarp around to all 4 holes, clamp in place and use the drill press to drill.
Image 2 shows the trim cable anchor nut plate clamped onto the elevator access plate ready to drill. Again, this is match drilling like I so love to do. Now, I know the access plate is mounted backwards on the nut. I did this to get a better visual to see and center the cable running through the access plate slot. Drill and cleco as you go.
