Brief Description: Connect elevator trim tab cable at each end.
With the trim cable anchor nut plate just clecoed on I finalized each end of the cable to watch the trim cable work. Works great. I’m still glad I’m using manual trim instead of electric.
Image 1 shows the trim cable adjust knob on the dog house top. This is in-between the two seats a comfortable and easy reach away. Notice the VANS supplied fuel selector mounted just below the trim cable knob. What, your not using the popular expensive Andair fuel selector? Heck no. I’m avoiding all unnecessary after market gismos.
Image 2 and 3 show the trim cable exiting the aft end of the elevator and linked up to the trim tab. Hey, did I ever mention I’m in the one trim tab club? Just sayin.
