Brief Description: Match Drill HS spar angle through shim.
Here we’re now match drilling the HS spar through the previously drilled shims. I used this yellow square to help line up the drill perpendicular to the surface I’m drilling. Easy, nothing in the way.
Image 3 shows the HS mounted back on the fuselage and ready to match drill the fuselage through the HS spar and shim. In this image you can’t see the shim but it is there. We now have a quarter inch of material pre drilled to match drill the remaining quarter inch of fuselage.
