Brief Description:  1 - Completed installation of Aileron Control Stop

Even though all the holes were drilled yesterday, the tedious but necessary work is enlarging the cutout just enough to get the desired up and down deflection on your ailerons. The allowable range is 11.5 degrees (+- 1 degree) both up and down. By the time I had made many, many small adjustments my ailerons were all within 1/2 degree of each other, with the high being 11.2 degrees. One other time consuming issue was the pre-existing wires running from the master switch to main bus (big white wire in the pictures below) as well as the transponder antenna wire coming out of the other side of the torque tube support. I needed to make corresponding holes (with grommets) in the new piece so the routing would not have to be alterned. Now that I have observed the actual range of motion for aileron travel, I have a small adjustment to be made to the pilot's stick to move it about 10 to 15mm to the right. Another time.
