Brief Description:  2 - Fit and installed elevator saddle

Like so many tasks, this step required a fair amount of measuring and precise placement. Because the fiberglass piece, sold by Zenith, does not perfectly conform to the contour of the top of the stabilizer, part of the placement is working with fixed points like the contour of the rudder nose skin and making adjustments as needed elsehwere. An example is how the saddle has to be lifted from the stabilizer top skin a bit in order to connect with the aft end of the rear top skin. This leaves a small gap that I expect to fill with fiberglass at some point. Otherwise, this part is ready for the next step: the upper deflection stop.
