Brief Description: Flap motor bracket and torque tube
Using the wing jig I located and marked the hinge centre point on the fuselage side skin and then drilled and filed the left side to 1 1/8 to allow the flap torque tube arm to pass into the fuselage. I then did the same for the right side, but this still needs to be filed. The L angles where installed next and back drilled. The next step is to drill the two support L angles for the torque tube. I again drilled this to 20mm and filed to the requried 1 inch hole, the only problem is that I located the hole in the cenre of the bracket as per the drawings, but this does not fit the position of the hole in the side of hte fuselage, which is either to close to teh rear spar bracket (can't be because this is where the centre of the hinge is) or the hole for the torque tube in the L angles is not in the centre, if this is the case I need to order new torque tube support brackets.
Installed the flap motor bracket
Located the left flap hinge centre point and drilled and filed to 1 1/8 hole for the torque tube
Located the right flap hinge centre point and drilled the hole to 20mm, still need to file to size
