Brief Description: Finished left and right front fuse skins
This afternoon I finished the left side fuse skin by making the required cut outs for the gear channel and center spar. Once this was complete I reinstalled the skin and slid the wing spar jig into place. Its a pretty good fit, the spar just needs to come forewards slightly, but once the vertical spar supports are added this will be easy enough to do. I then started on the right fuse forward skin, as with all things like this , it took a lot less time doing the second skin. As you can see from the photo's, both skins still need to be trimmed, but this happens later in the process, the next step is to install the gear channel brackets and gear channel vertical supports.
