Marked skin with cut out dimensions and cut a hole with a 60mm hole saw on the top and bottom of the skin. Rough cut the skin to remove the major portions and then trimmed to the line and filed the finish smooth, also filed small corner relief holes where the skin meets the middle support rib. This was time consuming but ended up being a lot easier than I had originally thought.
