I have removed the left and right ailerons so that they can be mass balanced. Having brought the ailerons home I weighed both of them, the right aileron weighs 1.6kg and the left aileron weighs 1.8kg (the difference in weight is the trim tab). Both aileron are painted of course.
I also had a spare aileron skin, the weight of this unpainted is 1.4kg with no paint or ribs installed.
