Brief Description:  Flight test hours complete

Last Saturday I completed my 25-hour flight test period and have sent off my flight test finalisation form. I should receive my official registration card in the next few days and then I can take my wife and friends flying.....I can’t wait, hope the weather behaves itself. I am also going to publish my Pilot's Operating Handbook; I have collected a range of test data and am just finishing collating and turning it into a readable document.

All I can say so far is that my 601XL exceeds the numbers published by Zenith.

I can easily cruse at 120knots at 2800rpm.
Max strait and level speed at present is 137knots at 3050rpm, I know this is very very close to VNE, but this was established on a beautiful calm morning and I am sure that as the engine break in continues so will top speed.

Also now that flight-testing is complete, I am going to fit my wing intersection fairings and then compare my previous numbers for climb etc. to see what if any difference the fairings make.
