Brief Description:  More tidy up work before final inspection

Today I adjusted the ailerons for proper throws and to ensure that they where hitting the stops rather than the sides of the ribs, which one side was doing. Also installed the rudder stops, adjust the tacho sensor, safety wired the aileron turnbuckles and the aileron balance cable. Fixed a wiring fault and soldered the wire for the choke cable to ensure that it would operate if the return spring broke.

I still need to safety wire the gascolator and the aileron and flap hinges, do a fuel calibration check using the fuel bowser to verify the fuel gauge readings and then do a final once over before the inspector turns up on Thursday 10th January at lunch time, if I am lucky I might be able to do a test flight on either Friday or this weekend......
